About Me – Mira Anders
I write and design books for children — stories that encourage courage, share knowledge in a playful way, and let imagination shine. I love stories that connect heart and mind — stories in which children recognize themselves, discover something new, and are allowed to wonder. When I write, I want to show that imagination, curiosity, and being “different” are among our greatest strengths.
Being “different” can be a strength.
Each of us carries an entire world of ideas inside.
My books combine creativity, heart, and knowledge — for young explorers, dreamers, and future changemakers.
🌍 My path to books
I have loved books ever since I was a child. To me, they felt like secret doors — opening into distant places, adventures, and fantastical worlds.
Today, I want to pass on that feeling: the joy of discovering, the wonder of coloring, and a smile while reading.
My wish is that children find courage in my stories and recognize themselves within them.
💛 What matters to me
Encouraging creativity
Children should be free to experiment, choose colors, and develop their own ideas.
Sharing knowledge playfully
Whether it’s endangered animals or musical instruments from around the world — learning can be exciting.
Building courage
With Finn’s ADHD Adventures, I want to show that being “different” can also be a strength. My stories combine heart, humor, and a sense of adventure.
🌿 A glimpse behind the scenes
When I’m not writing, I gather ideas in nature, try out creative projects, or leaf through children’s books myself. This is often where the first sparks for new stories appear — right in the middle of everyday life, drawn from real moments.
📖 Whether it’s a coloring book or an encouraging story — I’m happy when my books can accompany children and families.
“Books are like doors — they lead us into new worlds
and show us that we belong everywhere.”
– Mira Anders
